Cannes in a Van – A Screen Social Special! March 29th!

Cannes in a Van

Cannes in a Van is the four-wheel film festival that takes independent film to the heart of the Cannes Film Festival & beyond, screening films straight from the back of a Ford Transit.

The Van d’Or Awards for Independent Film was created to celebrate everything that independent film stands for – passion, innovation and  no-holds-barred freedom of expression, awarding those extraordinary indie films with the now-coveted gold van statuette. In 2012, the Van d’Ors and host, legendary film-critic Barry Norman presented 16 awards to films, directors, actors, animators, sound and motion designers of outstanding quality from throughout Europe.

In collaboration with Cannes in a Van and Inkfolk we will be screening this special selection of films on Friday the 29th March at Macpelah Mill, Hebden Bridge. Expect the full Red-Carpet treatment – so if you’re in the mood, get out your glitzy frock and sharpest suit to add a little bit of that Hollywood sparkle!
